GETTING STARTED

A few steps.
A fresh start.

  1. 01

    Choose your tool

    Choose devezCode for your desktop workspace or devezVibe for the agent terminal. Each can be used independently.

  2. 02

    Install the product

    For devezCode, extract the ZIP and run the installer. For devezVibe, run npm install -g devez-vibe with Node.js 18+ installed.

  3. 03

    Connect and start

    Sign in to the AI tools you plan to use. Open a project in devezCode, or run dvz from a project folder for devezVibe.

Which platform are these tools for?

Both products currently target Windows x64. devezCode uses the .NET 9 Desktop Runtime and WebView2. devezVibe requires Node.js 18 or later.

Do I need to install both products?

No. devezCode is a workspace for AI coding CLI sessions; devezVibe is an agent terminal client. Use either on its own, or launch devezVibe in a devezCode terminal.

How should I install devezVibe?

The recommended method is npm install -g devez-vibe, then dvz. The download button provides the npm package. A downloaded .tgz package can be installed with npm install -g ./devez-vibe-VERSION.tgz, replacing VERSION with the downloaded version.

Is an AI subscription included?

No. Use your own provider account and authenticate the AI CLI or provider you choose. Provider subscriptions and usage charges are handled separately.
